I am looking into rebuilding the motor in my 05 QC. Here is my wish list. What do you guys think, overkill, not enough, different mods?

Truck Engine Build
Forced Induction W/NOS
Goal 1000HP
250 shot nitrous


Rods:
K1 or Oliver

Pistons:
Wiseco or JE (Coated ?)

Crankshaft:
Ground, polished & balanced
Dual key crankshaft

Mains:
Billet Main caps
Coated Bearings
ARP Bolts

Stock Heads:
Stainless Steel exhaust valves
Port matched
Chromalloy pushrods
Performance Hydraulic Lifters
Performance valve springs and retainers
ARP Head Studs

Miscellaneous:
ProCharger F-1A Supercharger system
Minimal bore and Hone the block for precision roundness
9.2 to 1 ratio
Parallel deck block
File fit piston rings
Oil pump modification
Line Boring Mains
Fuel pump upgrade
Crower or Mopar camshaft
Block stress relived
Static and Rotational Balancing
Port matched intake
Supercharger V-belt drive damper
Cloyes true roller timing chain
Larger fuel rails and injectors
 
Just a few changes and the more I think about it the more the list will change.

I thought you had a Paxton on it when it blew :dontknow: If so and you want to get rid of some parts pm me:D

The key word is HAD:D I only put it on because of the trip to Sac.:eek: Will be removing the Paxton soon. I am going with the ProCharger setup from Justin:rock:
 
ya if your going procharger you definitly need to go striker or a good set of fully ported stockers.. get em flowing atleast 315 cfm
 
Talked to Kevin at EED the other day. He has a few trucks that he is working on now but may be able to work on mine also. He will call back on monday with his suggestions and we will see where to go from there.
