For those that are missing shifts

gonna be chewing up your tires slowing down like that. Pretty cool though.
 
I love it but wouldn't want it in anything I had to drive much. I didn't like the noise.
It would be fun in an old musclecar sleeper project or racecar~!!!

Good find John...They are just a little over an hour from me....I talked with him several times back in 06 when he was working on a 6spd for the Chargers.....gonna check into this..:)

Nope.....no synchros, would be a bitch to drive on the street. Plus I think I'm just about as fast with my clutch.

Dog box.... People have been converting Munices for years (using M22 "Rock Crusher" internals). The straight(ish) helical gears cause the noise, giving the original M22 it's nickname (because it SOUNDS like a rock crusher)... as opposed to the layman's idea of "you could grind rocks with it". ;)

You can use the clutch on a dog box. You just have to match the rpm's while downshifting, and/or "heel-toe"ing in the corners. Or double-clutching, like used in cars from the early 1900's (before synchronization was common).
