Hey guys!
Loving my SRT 10 that I acquired a few weeks ago. When I got the truck it had a K&N CAI, and magna flow catback exhaust installed. About a week ago, I decided to do the Roe Pin kit on the damper pulley and get that squared away so I wouldn't have any future problems. Anyway, I put the truck all back together and the check engine light came on, Code was for the Intake Air Temperature. I used a buddies OBD II scanner, cleared it and it came right back on, took the negative battery cable off for about 30 minutes, came right back on. Went to Rock Auto, bought a new IAT sensor thinking I may have damaged it when I removed the CAI. Installed the new sensor, unhooked battery cable for 20 or so minutes. Went out for a drive and all was well then after about 10 minutes the light came right back on and pretty much has stayed on since. The truck seems to run fine, and I can't imagine what I could've done. Check engine light never was on prior (A friend owned truck before me and I've been around it for about 4 years) to any of this. So I'm kind of stumped. It has a little red box that looks as if its tied into the sensor that says FuelMaxx on it, I'm assuming that was something that came with the aftermarket cold air intake, is it possible I screwed that up? Any thoughts?
Any help would be appreciated! Thanks in advance!
