Leaf Springs

Thick monoleaf would be the solution!..... Coming from someone who knows nothing about suspension. :dontknow:

Hotchkis does not have a leaf spring specifically for our trucks. But they do have them for the QC Hemi's which are pretty much the same as our trucks. So do they work on our trucks? Yes they do. I have them on mine and have no complaints.

Did you buy the full lowering kit or just the rear leafs?

Is it a single spring or a spring pack? and did it lower it? What are they worth?

Cal-Tracs makes a split mono leaf spring

I got the rear leaf pack from a warranty situation. I also have the front springs but they are not installed at this time. I went from a flip kit to the Hotchkis setup and I like the Hotchkis setup more. Better feedback and handling. Little stiffer than stock. Ride height was lowered a good amount with a slight rake. I will be installing the QA1's on all four corners this weekend. I might put in the Hotchkis front springs.

I will take pictures this weekend with the wheel off.

How much will the Hotchkis rear springs lower the rear without cal-tracs?

From what Ive read, the Leafs will drop the back 4 inches. http://www.thunderracing.com/catalog/?action=mshop&mid=50&sid=506

The front springs drop 2 1/4 inches. http://www.thunderracing.com/catalog/?action=mshop&mid=50&sid=371

So pretty much its a 2/4 drop without using a flip kit. I emailed Hotchkis and asked if they still offer the whole kit with springs, leafs, sway bars, and shocks. Waiting for a response.

Here's an article about the kit being installed on a 04 HEMI QC.

If you mention it's for a SRT10 they will tell you they don't make it for that model.

I called Hotchkis today and spoke with Mark. They no longer make the full kit for the QC. But, they did have 2 sets of leaf springs and rear shocks in stock. So i ordered a set. Gave me a great deal too!

Your wheels look pretty cool in those pics on the link. Are they permastar black chrome? I also dig the "access denied" sticker. Sorry that I'm way off topic. I would be interested in some lowering leaf springs but it doesn't sound like they'll be around.
