It's definitely the way these trucks should have come. The vents are incredibly functional. They sit right over the headers. I bet the under hood temperatures will drop at least 50 to 100 degress. I'm still working on functional fender vents but I just haven't found the right ones yet.

Is it carbon fiber?? Stock height on the scoop??
It's made out of fiberglass. I would say the hood weighs about 40 lbs, much lighter than the stock one. As far as the hood scoop, I don't believe it is any taller. I really haven't measured it yet. I know you do gain cleareance underneath it.

I bought the hood, the vents off a Viper hood and had it custom made.
