Yep, that's your problem/ Although you are shifting at your peak remember that peak you saw was on a dyno and not real world engine loading. You need to max out every gear. If your limiter is at 5950-6000 like most shift at 5800 or so just before hitting the limiter. Hitting the limiter will slow you as it takes timing and fuel as well as skips cylinder firing. Push it to the limit and watch a few tenths add on.
