Well lets see a last smokeshow out of her.

Just tape off thde fenders and go at it.

Then post the vid of course

nah, its not right to the new owner to abuse the truck prior to giving it to them.
besides, i am now closer to:

and its gone, just left as i held back a tear and ran my hand down the side one last time.
it was a good truck, and the fastest pickup i have ever owned.

Scoob, very decent thing of you to say. I know it was a joking comment but very mature answer

I do want everyone to know i was joking 100%.

I would never do such a thing, or expect anyone else too.

someone else that used to be here on a regular basis did that exact thing prior to trade in/sale. he went for about 2 blocks, on the rev limiter, in a big burnout. very uncouth.

and still get the same amount of fan tail:rock::rock::rock::D

cant drive a truck to Japan, Australia, Vietnam, Kenya, Israel, Turkey, Spain, England, get the picture? :p

still have my diesel, and have that down to 8 seconds to 60 so far. thats quick for a 7500# truck. good thing for me it revs out at 105.....

next thing on the block? my old GMC, will be happy to see $2000 for that. then my power boat, $9500, then my ATV, $5000, two utility trailers, 3500,
yard sale, land sale 80,000, and then i will be in the water.
my goal is this fall, but its going to take until next fall.

i went to anopolis MD last week to look at boats, and settled on the lagoon 42.

i went there expecting the small one to be larger inside. suffice to say i had to go room to room sideways, and hit both sides of the door. i must be the first fat sailor in the world.

the lagoon 42 was big enough i could walk normally inside, standing straight up, huge galley, room for a tub, big screen, dog room. its what i need. and large enough to go anywhere in the world. never pictured myself in a blow boat to be honest.

You mentioned dog room, and with scoob as ur avatar and sig, u wouldnt happen to have a Great Dane would you?

i wish i could, the issue i have with danes is they only live 6-8 years MAX. my 50# labs will live 14-16 years easily.

i came up with the idea of a dog room early on. when the seas get rough i put them in there. with a nice bed and soft vinal walls, if they heave it will be an easy cleanup. will also be the room for visiting country's that dogs are not permitted outside the boat. going to have two nice windows so they can see out, a hatch for air, and A/C cuz they are spoiled. one of the windows will be on the inside of the hulls, so they can bark at the dolphins.

my dane will be turning 11 on june 4th,

She is a full blooded grat dane with papers, she is about as dosile as they come and her pampered life is the key to her longevity, i believe, she is my baby, i got her when she was a couple months old and she has moved all over the us with me.

She is on our last leg right now, hip problems, and the day uis quickly aproching but she still has life quality, Nor looking forward to the day i put her down, she is truly part of thae family,

some dog lovers get that, some dont

Something I always wanted to do...sail around the world in the biggest catamaran I could get. Good luck Scoob, once in a lifetime or maybe it becomes your life, who knows. Sorry you had to let your truck go to do it, but, oh well. Life is about choices if you ain't superrich.
