A 2005 Dodge ViperRam Quad Cab 6speed, and even from a dig and a 35 roll on the 06'Goat 6spd. tonight!
Project QC6 (Quad Cab 6 speed) is a complete success. Not only is the power about 40-50 whp better, but the weight loss of the 48re ( -/+ 75 lbs), and the 4 mpg average better, as well as the fun factor there that the 48re robs on the street.

Makes me wonder why Dodge decided to go with an auto in the QCs in the first place. I know they were supposed to be more of a "family" vehicle, but those are huge gains IMO for just swapping to the T56.

I hope to get in some good runs with traction to see exactly how much better it is, but the fun factor makes up for the swap totally! I have matched my Personal Best time with the Auto already and was spinning thru alot of first and a bit of second. I questioned why Dodge didn't do this as well, so I did what I thought they shoulda done.

I believe already rolling significantly helps our trucks kick ass! Getting off the line really suck with this much weight.:dontknow::burnout:

Nope cause the owner of the newer GTO I know personally and he has been following my 6-speed swap with keen eyes!He was wanting some of Wade since back in the day and he wasn't worthy as Tooloe woulda smoked his ass. He then has been wanting some of me lately and last night at the car meet we had the opportunity. He just installed BMR drag bags which help those goats hook awesome on street tires!! They worked as I had to play catch up, but did so and passes barely by 125ish. The second run from about 35 I waxed that ass! It was priceless.

I also own an LS1 FRC Vette and the truck walks it now! With the Auto the truck and Vette were DEAD NUTS EVEN!! 13.4@104 in the 1/4 although the Vette always felt faster?

really, what all u got done to the truck when u where keepin up with the vette, i thought the vette would smoke it stock??? and its gata be pretty close to stock runnin mid 13s. or am i off the reservation?

good kills man. They few GTOs I raced here in Houston smoked my RC. Not sure of their mods but it was nothing nice. :dontknow:

The truck is pretty much exhaust but no headers, cold air, Roe TB, Demon Coil Packs, MSDs, Torries Tune, that's about it.

The Vette is stock LS1 with Exhaust (again, no headers), cold air intake, 3.90 gears, and my personal tune.

Get rid of the 2.2 60 ft on both of them and they are high 12s vehicles.
Both pretty close to stock yes!:burnout:

Got rid of the truck but was pretty much stock as far as performance mods. Dyno'd 440. Scotty knows as well as me that it doesnt take much to make an LS based car go fast not to mention how cheap it is compared to a viper based vehicle.
