I raced the SRT-10 today!

I went to Atco Raceway today to a track rental to make some 1/4 mile passes with my bone stock '05 RC. I used my friend Ryan's M&H Drag Radials.
It was pretty hot, 74 degrees & the track prep was not that great.
Anyways, here are the passes!

run #1: 60' 2.02 / 8.73 @ 79.90 / 13.56 @ 103.58 mph

run #2: 60' 1.93 / 8.54 @ 80.78 / 13.35 @ 103.81 mph

run #3: 60' 1.96 / 8.61 @ 81.28 / 13.39 @ 104.53 mph

run #4: 60' 1.98 / 8.63 @ 80.61 / 13.44 @ 103.83 mph

Well I really wanted a 12 second pass but atleast I got a baseline. Now Let the Mods Begin! :rock:

not too shabby, would think you'd be able to pull a bit better 60ft time with the M&H's, what tire pressure were you running?

i was thinking the same thing about the DR's...i've bested a 2.05 60' on full air street tires...

what do you thnk you would have ranon street tires?

I had 18 psi. in the DR's the first 3 passes then I went down to 17 psi.
Everyone there said there 60' were off today. I thought I would 60' in the 1.85 - 1.89 Range.
I dumped the clutch @ 3,500 RPM's instead of riding the clutch out, maybe that was the difference?

Oh I can drive boys but I did leave a little bit on the table because I still have that POS stock shifter in the truck & I pussy'd 3rd gear every time! :dontknow:
I gonna do the shifter mod next & maybe a full exhaust & Torrie tune soon.

but every clutch and vehicle is different and you just gotthat truck not to long ago right. sodont talk urself down bud. good job man

ralph, yeah the best results are going to be slipping the clutch, but just dropping it does make it last longer I'm still on the factory clutch and my truck has seen a lot of drag strip passes:burnout:

Yeah, even some of my Lightning buddy's admitted to me at the end of the day stock for stock the SRT-10 is the faster truck. Don't piss Eric off to bad because I need him to help me finish putting my turbo Lightning back together!

My truck still has the factory clutch as well & it is pretty high & that's why I didn't want to ride it out & burn it up!

dont worry about eric!!! he owns the garage, but we run it. do the math 525hp at 5200 vs 380 at 3700 who is faster
