anyone running recon tail and 3rd lights?

i have recon tails but facory 3rd. here is a pic

i had these on my silver qc and it looked killer. i was very pleased. tied the whole ass end together. much better than those huge red ones

yes they look great i was think of just getting smoke for silver truck thou. are they bright i dont want to get rear end lol.
 
they are super bright, dont even need reverse lights at night they are so bright, they are led. even after i spray tinted them (reallydark) they are still brighter than the stock ones. i have seen the smoked ones too. once bit put them on his 06 mineral grey, and looked killer....but i think the ones in my pick (chrome ones) look the best on silver. JMHO though. and if u decide to go smoked, u can spray tint them for less than $10. and the spray is reversable. he smoked ones are not.

i sprayed my stock taillights pretty dark and there still pretty bright too. But i did a horrible job spraying them. Yours look bitchin. Im gonna try to buy a new set of stock ones and have them professionaly tinted this time
 
dont order recon man, I jsut found the actual folks that make the recons, same lights same deal , I will find out pricing monday bud

lmao, ur tellin me you can do an engine swap but cant use a spray can????

send them to me, il do it for yah. u should have cought me a month ago. i sold a stock pair that i would have spray tinted for $35 for all. but really, send them to me, il do it for yah:marchmellow:

yeahyeh, i was gunna say that. u can get a set just like mine for under $300. just do some seaching. or better yet, wait for stink to get back to yeah. i can pretty much guarentee he will be the best price. he is on EVERYTHING else:rock::rock::rock:
 
just make for damn sure stink knows what year ur truck is. may have to remind 1 or 2........or 10 times... bwaahahahahahaha, gotcha bossman:D

seeeeerious lol dammit. Well i just quickly looked and found a set for like 65 ill look a little more see if i can save a few bucks and ill definitly have you do them for me.

Yes i can do engine swap tear the engine down blueprint it and build a nice engine but i cant use a spray can hahaha. Im effin retarted when it comes to spray painting bro. i even tried to sand them back down and do it again and turned out the same. to much work to sand back down again so ill find someone to buy these and ill have you do up a set of stock ones for me bro
 
NP bro, i messed up my first one and tried to wet sand it with 2000 grit, that made it milky. so i just put 4 coats of tint, then 4 coats of clearcoat. i thionk they look good. they are not as shiny as actual paint. but u have to get right on them to see that
 
and sleeper, i wouldnt pay more than 50 bucks for a set of stockers. there sjould be plenty out there

nice! They good great to me, but yea i kinda want them to still have a dark red tint to them but be glossy ya know....Here in Cali the fuzz likes excuses like that to pop ya

yup, i can make them as dark or light as u want bro. i am shocked i havent been pulled over yet for it. hell i have ony been pulled over oce in the truck, and that was for not having a front plate. i said "officer, i am gunna be honest, im never gunna put oe on, i refuse to drill holes in my bumper, and it looks like shit" he smiled nd gave a usually cop responce. "i understand, i woud do the same, but the law is the law and might gert a couple tickets" he was a pretty cool guy.
