Missing my truck dearly these days. Think all the time about getting into another one. What i miss the most is cranking it up in the morning and just listening to it idle and shake while it warmed up. Went through 7 different exhaust setups to get the sound i wanted, and it was unmistakable. I loved turning heads when i cranked it or even just driving through gas stations and parking lots. I want that aggressive sound, to go with the mean look of my future 06 nightrunner.

If...... When, i get one i will be putting long tubes and a similar exhaust to what i had. As i was hell on my last rig, and beat it into the ground, im going to baby this one and keep it off the track. That said im not interested in racing or have big dreams to make tremendous power in the future. But i do want an aggressive cam.

If im correct, an early exhaust opening, long exhaust duration with alot of intake/exhaust overlap would give the truck a mean idle. It would be worth $1,500 to me to get that sound.

Could i do it for this price? And would i be able to get that noticeable of an exhaust note from doing nothing else to it but bolt ons? Any tips advice would be greatly appreciated.

Get in contact with Tony bud. He's doing custom cams now. He had one in the brutal 10, that we heard in Panama last month. Sounded very nice. Not to aggressive.

Here is a clip of mine with a cam/Mopar longtubes/Borla exhaust.

Hey steve, did i meet you at the gtg in 09?

If i can get it to idle rough enough and not cut off, and with the rear sensors off, still keep the CEL away. I would be willing to sacrifice 15-20 down low, if it would make any decent up top.

My idea is with the right combo of Overlap, Duration and timing, i could get a pretty aggressive sound without going to high on the lift sacrificing my valvetrain, and making my computer go nuts.

Yeah buddy. I met you at that GTG, right before you sold the truck.
