Had to go to a wedding in Kelowna over the weekend and decided to take the SRT. What an awesome vehicle to drive in the mountains. When you get behind a stack of cars and motorhomes where everyone is scared to pass, it's NO problem to drop a couple of gears and pass 8 -12 vehicles at once.
What a great trip. The radar detector saved my ass a few times, sure glad I had it.
Once I got there it was amazing that no-one had even heard of these trucks.
Everyone thought I built it.
My Buddy has 2 classic Mopars, a 70 RR 440 4-spd, and a 70 Hemi Challenger convertible. And the truck probably had just as much attention as the classics. One girl I met even gave it the nickname "Erection on Wheels" LOL.
But, I do have just the slightest hint of a vibration at about 120km/hr. I guess it's time to try and re-balance the tires. If that doesn't do it I guess it's time to ditch the Pirelli's.
