made a deal with santeen, if he got the timeslip section changed, I would post my numbers back up, which i dont see is fair, but I lost, he won, amazing sometimes if you come together what finally gets done
I do plan on revising it an dropping those numbers once she is finished being put back toghether, this time na with nos an auto
I have read about your N/A accomplishments. They are impressive to anyone who understands the physics involved in racing these heavy beasts. That being said, we both know there are a lot of guys running around backwards in both Lightnings and SRT10 trucks. Easy pickings! I do think it is funny as Hell to see the Timeslips section now burried three layers deep here on the forum. But being harder to find will prevent the Timeslips section from being the but of jokes on the Ford and Chevy Forums. Jim
Shut up old fart!!! Has that heap even been down the 1/4? I'm protesting that 1/4 mile time. :aetsch: It's totally fair. You and that truck ran that time. Whether it's changed now or not, makes no difference. Should we not put Nowwhat's time up there? That truck held the record for a very long time. It's an SRT10 and it ran that time. His should be up there also. Now shut up father and do what I tell ya.
Been working on that since moving away from the MP blower. That little demonstration made me well known in the Lightning community. But was a bit of a setback as the top running guys were getting faster than that combo could dream of. The new combo was built with an eye towards JL's blower times. He has since lowered that time significantly. I do feel I got enough to cover what he has shown to date, but a couple details are being worked out. Watch the DelValLO times list this Fall. Jaws are gonna drop when I run in race trim!!! Jim
A Whipple 2.3/Spray combo on a aluminum GT block. High compression build. It ran 9s spinning in full street trim already. 400#s heavy and short geared. When the weight is out, the boost and spray dialed up, it is going to run HARD. Jim
No cage. The track officials would freak if I drop a 9.5 or lower at 145+ MPH without even a bar. I won't put the DelValLO in that position. I may be there just practicing the launch for all the new mods. Truck power and weight have changed drastically and it does not hook on the former setup any longer. Jim Sorry for the off topic diversion, guys.
