someone needs to do this on the DIY board. It's awesome. I want to do this for the later factory unit. Is the wiring plug the same for the REN head unit as the RB4? I have a single CD from my '06 Dodge that I'm going to use as a template. But I don't want to drop the cash on the REN unit if it doesn't work.

Nevermind I found that the canbus and all that isn't compatible. I saw a lockpick that makes the radio work in other vehicles but i don't think it goes back to '05. I do still think this should be in the DIY though.

Did you buy any add-on modules with the Pioneer? If so, where you able to get any of them to work with the Kenwood? I have the AVIC3 and looking to go to a Double Din. Thanks!

Dang JR.. That's.... That's pretty friggen clean right there dude. Makes me lose my fear of the double-din install... Now I'm hooked. First I'd have to see if ///ALPINE builds an 'all in one' double-din unit.

I am very happy with the performance of my set-up,Very clean with plenty of bass. Here is a unit you might like.

Well thats the plan it keeps morfing into something new but thats the latest idea that has come to mind.. trying to find the best sound quality possible with out spending 4000 on a set of mids lol... ...

Only problem Im having is trying to come up with a design for the sub box amp rack and no2 rack behind the seat.. thinking i might have to move some things to the bed but would be nice to keep it all in cab.

ill get some pics when i get to that stage.. i want it to be immaculate and fitting to the truck as best as possible, almost not noticeable until pointed out kinda...
