I had the driver rear wheel/tire checked today. It had a slow leak, would be flat after about 3 days, figured I had a screw in the tire. The salesman takes me in the shop, on the inside lip of the wheel there is a crack in the wheel, about a 1/2-3/4" in length headed toward the center of the wheel. There is no evidence of damage (curb checks, dents/dings in wheel, etc.) to the wheel what so ever, other then the finish peeling off. Kind off freaked me out a little. Has anyone ever seen this before? Does anyone know what might have caused this? Now I have a brand new set of black and satin silver 24" wheels and tires out of the deal, not a bad deal, but I am sure going to miss the look of my factory wheels.
