I just added a new usergroup. With this group, you can post in the Classified section. If you are not a Full Access Member or a Supporting Member, you can not post in the classified section.

Now to become a Full Access Member, you will have to be registered for more then 5 days and also have 100 posts. So now regular/new members that signup to the forums can not post in the Classified Section, just what all you guys wanted

    well...that's cool...

the only downside...is what if you just want to sell your truck...i would look on a forum for trucks/cars for sale...

but if i were selling...i wouldn't post 100 times just to do it...

    just a thought...

maybe a section JUST for new members to sell their rides?

i don't know...just thinkin out loud on that one...

That's what I am trying to avoid. I don't want people coming here to just signup and sell their stuff. They must be contributors to the forum before they can post their items for sale.

Then they can pay the small fee to become a supporting member. Ya dumb ass. If they have the possibility of making some money by selling their truck, then they can be a supporting member. That way they can post right away.

Yep, that at least have to contribute to the forum by posting or becoming a Supporting Member. Its the best way from keeping people from just signing up here to sell their stuff, whatever it is.

Not really. Registered users and Full Access Members are about the same, but FAM can post in the classifieds section as Registered Users can not. FAM also get a bold user name

you looked in the wrong place;)

    it's $26 for a year...

you were looking at the vendor's section... which... unless you have product you'd like to sell, is not what you need...

Just signed up and this may have been covered already, but what's the difference between this forum and the other srt10 ram forum? Are they mutually exclusive?
