Have you tried leaving from an idle? My buddies camaro cuts a better 60' doing that, says It will stall up higher than if he holds the brakes and stalls it up on the line
Ive tried 28" slicks on my old 16" wheels but havent yet on the 15's. Dont know that I will either. I know a guy with a L cutting 1.2X 60's on MT's.
I do have some minor weight reduction but I gained most of it back with my stereo equipment.
Yeah I can shave a metric shit ton of weight but then you start getting into the grey area of whether or not its a street car.
Front bogarts
Remove front bumper core
Remove A/C
Remove CC
Tubular LCA's
Manual rack
Remove passenger seat
Kirkey seat
Roll pan
Remove the 300# of audio equipment that's currently installed
Reinstall the much lighter stock hood
The more extreme reduction would be an aluminum block, TH400 and 9".
Some things can be removed and it's still a street truck but I see what your saying, what about like a 50 shot set up for wot.
you could proly shave off a little if you clean your shifts up a l;ittle... maybe go to an A/T. i know they are gay, very very gay, but they shift faster
just foolin. nice runs man. and i agree, if you go to far with the WR it is no longer a DD truck, which i am assuming it is. but nice runs
This is a much more positive response than I thought Id get considering this was done in a L and I appreciate that.

Not full on street trim but damn close. I switch out the stock rear wheel for some 15" Bogarts with 315/60/15 MT's. I also mounted some lighter (but not by much) 16" wheels up front and removed my tailgate. I need some 15" Bogart front runners bad.
I ran a .03 the previous night with the stock front wheels and tailgate still on at a different track.
