My school has one as well. I have only been in it at there open house last year. I would rather spend my $$$ flying the real thing. The sim is only $25 less than the plane I fly.
they do come in handy once you start IFR training, and for emergency procedures. Also for trying out different failures.
 
yeah ours is 80 per plus instructor.
120 to sit in a box?
i would have rather had them get a new cessna 172.
the newist one they have is 1970 something.
 
by mancave, i meant a generalization of all mancaves, past, present, and future....

mine's not done yet... well... haven't even broke ground:(

it's gonna be half underground under the new dining/breakfast room... this year's addition;)
 
And to think, I want a 1br house with a 6 car garage :D
 
Speaking of mancaves, check out what I found in the dump. With a little work during my mancave / home theater / game room building project, it fits in nicely. Here's some pics of the device development first. With extensive re-wiring, lighting install, audio rework, programming, body work, fresh paint and some trinkets, NOW it's ready to please featuring 59 more vintage games added to the original to choose from. I'll post up pics of the mancave project from beginning to end next. I need some friends to come over and hang out now.
