Raced an SS Camaro

Friday night I ended up next to an SS Camaro at about 45 MPH. I pulled it into second and goosed it just a little. The Camaro driver took the bait. As soon as the SS started to pull I buried the throttle. My truck pulled that car so bad that when I grabbed third I had to let off and wait for him to catch me. I've always wondered how those cars run. Now I know. They don't stand a chance against a lightly modded RC.

I played with one on the freeway. He thought he'd blow by the truck and the look on his face when I mashed it and stayed with him up to about 130 was priceless! He DID start to INCH away after that, but I think he got the point. We ran into some traffic so brought it down to legal speeds, until traffic cleared again. I was in front so I dropped the hammer and watched him play catch up. Or try.... 130+ and then I had to shut it down or miss my exit. He was several car lengths back, but gave a wave as he passed by me slowing for the offramp. Now I have the answer when my 7 yr old asks if my Viper truck is faster than a Bumblebee Camaro. :rock:
