Damn...hadn't seen those before...I bet they would look good, as long as they aren't too silver of a carbon fiber...IMO
Yeah true, try and keep a dark carbon look.

Those would probley look good and save you the time of cleaning up the old ones! Make sure you post pics if you use those. I may decide to buy some for my black qc too now lol
Looking good brother!Do you plan to replace the hood emblem with something black? What about the brake calipers? That's one of the major things I see left stock on "murdered out" vehicles. A task well worth doing in my opinion. Also, you don't have to buy tips, I just painted my exhaust tips with exhaust spray.
My entire exhaust system is now black with proper high temp exhaust spray from my local auto parts store. Been a good year or so now on and it still looks new. Just have to prep and follow the instructions and it will last. Just replied to your last PM to, not sure if they're working. Keep up the good work mate!
Cheers,
Carl

Awesome Carl, I'll check into that spray. Got your PM's, thank you for your help. Calipers will end up getting sprayed orange along with the valve covers when I get the time and money to do it. Orange and black are my 2 favorite colors and as of yet I haven't seen anyone SRT-10's with the black paint/orange calipers and valve covers look. I'm moving in a few weeks to Missouri and where I'm moving to is only about 2 weeks from JMB Performance, one of the vendors on this site and they do a ton of powdercoating of our parts, so I'll be able to get them done quickly once I'm out there. I'm going to either completely remove the badges or paint them, but I'm afraid if I remove them I will lose some paint in the process and right now I don't won't to add to my paint woes, so I'll just leave them until the time comes that I have enough money to get the entire truck repainted.
yeah man I think I'm going to go ahead and get them. At the worst, they hold me over until something better comes along and like you said, saves me the ass pain of cleaning up the old ones, or removing them for paint, etc.
Aha, sounds like a unique plan brother, nice to see you thinking outside the box. Just a "tip" if I may, well, my opinion, if you're going for the orange & black theme, perhaps do more orange than you plan to, to make it flow. I'm sure you would do little odds and ends. You don't want a 95% black truck with some "odd" bits of orange here or there, you know? Basically, make sure the orange is evenly spread out to tie it altogether. People won't see the orange valve covers from the exterior, so all they'll see is the orange calipers and it will look somewhat, off? If that makes sense.
If I were doing your theme, here's what I would look at doing (just some ideas). As well as the calipers, I would powdercoat the wheel center caps completely orange with a nice viper engraved logo, tint the fog lights with a subtle orange tint. Remove the headlight covers and "enhance" the orange ambler reflector of the lights, then black the rest of the lights out.
Then get some custom SRT/10 emblems made in orange with silver surrounds to make them POP. Either for the door, tailgate or all 3. I'd remove the hood emblems altogether, that hoods lines and scoop say plenty. Then get a nice orange emblem to replace the chrome plastic hood emblem. I'd have to see the truck in person to get more of a future vision, sounds like fun though! I'd love to do another project! Someone want to lend me their truck and some cash hahahaha......
I'm honored to have the mad scientist behind the "Batram" giving advice. I like your perspective Carl, I hadn't thought about the orange touches here and there, like you said, with centercaps and emblems. I think that's the route I'll go, but I won't be able to start until I at least get the calipers painted. But when I do, it's on. If you weren't in New Zealand I'd let you dig into my truck in a heartbeat lol
Thank you to Jaced_X for photoshopping this for me and making an awesome desktop wallpaper for me!

Not a problem mate, glad to help or throw some ideas out there. It's a passion of mine and I enjoy sharing. Awesome, that's the way I'd go, perhaps write some of it down on a Word file and make yourself a "To Do List". I'm a list freak with car projects hahaha.Keep us posted and PM me if you need someone to talk some ideas over with. Ps: I would happily take on the work too if I were in the USA.
Cheers!!
