Famoso Test and Tune Feb. 18

I have checked the weather report for the next weekend and it looks like the weather will be slightly better for Saturday Feb. 18 for the test and tune. Report says high of 68 Saturday and 65 on Sunday, but humidity will be only 45% Saturday and 61% Sunday. Also it says a tailwind from the north of 10mph on Saturday and 7 mph tailwind on Sunday, so with lower humidity and slightly better tailwind I will be going on Saturday to hopefully lower my best time of 11.73 set at Speedworld in AZ. I'm hoping SRTBrad will be there to film and Rick (phxpoolguy) will be there to set a new personnal best. Maybe some more SoCal guys and a few NorCal (CheFred and Noid) will come down. See you there! Gates open at 7am, racing starts at 9am till dusk.:burnout:

I ran an 11.70 @118 today at Speedworld today. Had to get my ladder bars adjusted and got a pair of 1.58 60ft., didn't put on the front Bogarts and 2nd gear shift is really lazy. Gonna hit up Torrie for another shift tune and try to play with line pressure but I'm hoping to drop a few tenths next week, hopefully. You gonna make it to this shindig Brad?

Yeah Rick I am going to try to make it. I'm about 75% sure that I can go.

Me too, told Jerry that my posi doesn't seem to lock up on one of my burnouts, gonna service tranny and differential on Monday.
 
I am installing caltracs this week and hoping I can make it up there to pick up the tires, but I am having a tuff time finding some wheels.
