Well the results are in after a long day at the track and only getting 2 passes in. First pass we didn't get to line up with each other but I ran a [email protected] and she ran a mach 1 mustang and lost with a [email protected](not too bad for her first time at the strip. After waiting for all the stupid people screwing up the lanes at the track we finally got to line up. We have video of it that'll be added later, I ran a [email protected] to her [email protected]. Now she wants a set of DR's because she spins too much, I'm afraid I may of started something now
Started something expensive all right, but its fun as heck. My wife and I have a blast but the mod bug gets expensive, especially with two Dodge's.

you will need the hubs also but they are about 100.00
Is she at least turning traction control off?
PUSH AND HOLD ESP/traction controll until it chimes and the dash will display esp disabled.

Im in same boat. My brother just got a 300 SRT8 stock and talks smack all the time. It is a beast of a car but it's also been about a year since he's been in the truck, so he forgot how the feeling is of a V10. Should be fun to remind him
I ran Steve's 300SRT at the track in homestead and he putting a working on me each time except when he didn't launch right. I also ran the wrong tune but he still had me by a little.

The quickest times on a stock or mildly modded SRT8 come from pushing the button once (not completely disabling it) and leaving it in drive (not manually shifting it).

I turn on dyno mode with the tuner when we race it. Dash looks like a christmas tree with all the ABS and brake warning lights on.lol

She isn't sure because the tire pressure system kept going off. She should be a lot quicker when she gets the launch down, her trap speed was just as high as my truck.

Now i can see if someone did not know the car that leaving the car in drive and leaving traction control on would net better ETs.
Best combo for me is and always has been traction control completely disabled manual shifting with street tires or DR.
