Any of my dozen locals want to hit up MIR or capital raceway this weekend. Friday is test and tune, sat and sun is a race, but they allow T&T between brackets and classes.

I'll be out of town this weekend, but id like to go up there one night. Havent ever ran down a track before. It would be fun to see what I could come up with!

If I had my truck back and no plans I would think about it. Little bit of a drive for me. Last time I was there the Local L's guys rented the track and we all drove up together. Hoping to get the truck in a few weeks.

Ill be video'ing all the lightnings if i cant get anyone together on the short notice. We can do this anytime, but id like to get there will the density altitude is low, and the temps are still cool. The schedule isnt too welcoming for Test and Tune

The times we rented the track were very early spring and late fall. Low DA and low temp equaled some great times. I think it cost about $1500-2000 to rent the track. We did 20 trucks/cars at $75 a pop for all day racing. I think I ran 25 times on the first rental. The ford guys were great in helping me out with my launch, etc.

We could think about doing this later this year in the fall.

Sounds good to me. I just have alot of beer that needs drinking this weekend, and a 12.8 et that needs lowering. Not in that order.
