Something must be wrong with my transmission. It drives fine on the street, but under a full power shift it keeps hanging up. I thought I would try one more time before taking it to the shop, but I missed 3rd three out of four runs last night. I am so angry right now, but the news wasn't all bad. My 3rd pass last night was a clean one, although not a record, it is the best "corrected" pass ever.

Pass #3: Time 10pm, temp 74 degrees, DA 1950', 60' 1.642, 1/8th mile 7.513 @ 93.95 mph, 1/4 mile 11.725 @ 117.29.

Corrected time: 11.463 @ 120.035 mph.

I just went back and checked some old times and I had a better corrected run on 3-24-2012. On that run the temp was 75 degrees at 6:37pm, the DA was 2083, the pass was [email protected] which corrected to a 11.438 @ 120.243. So I stand corrected!

Still damn impressive! Hope you get that transmission taken care of and it is an easy fix. Keep us updated and keep up the impressive runs!

Trans is only about a year old (remember I had to rebuild) and it feels fine under normal driving. I talked to Tick Performance and he said to bleed my hydraulics first. We're trying that next week. Also Tick has a special rebuild offer for $1599 total (parts and labor, plus free shipping to and from) and it includes "chryo treatment and polishing the internals", rated at 750 ftlbs at the wheels. I'm really thinking this is perfect for me if I need a rebuild.

Mine hangs up going into second after one or two hard passes. It also functions well during normal driving. I always figured it was the stock hydraulics getting hot, is that not correct?

could be... i'm still running factory hydraulics, but i don't really like this clutch setup, so i think i'm gonna upgrade just for the hell of it...

jerry, i didn't know (or forgot) that you rebuilt it already...

Now, thats a good deal for a rebuild.
