Not Having A Good Day

Well I'm still not having a good day. My mechanic told me today the #4 rod bearing, whats left of it took the crankshaft out. I bought a new crankshaft today and I couldn't find a used crank. Chrysler wanted $6,095 and I found one for $4195 and $3695 and a new crank for a hell of alot less than that.

Long as the motor is apart I'm going to put in better parts and a 710 cam. I'll let you guys know how the build comes out.

I have a stock excellent condition crank out of an 06rc with less than 30k on the motor that you can have for 2 large. I have a complete engine that is already torn down.

$6095, are you serious? Like some of the others have said, you could buy a complete engine for less than that.

When I put 2 holes in my block last year, Dodge wanted 18K for a replacement engine.

Check with Tony (JTS) to see what he might be able to get for you.
