What parts are interchangable????

i was just wondering what parts on these ram srt 10 are interchangable between other dodge rams? i heard that the radiator is similar to a 1 ton?

I believe the radiator is the same as the one for a cummins, and the front calipers on '04's are from 3500's. I think the rear calipers are from the HD's aswell.

There was a thread a few months ago where one guy was saying how our trucks were poorly made and kinda just thrown together, but someone pointed out that actually a lot of the parts and components of our trucks are actually made only for our trucks and so forth. In essence, there's very little on our trucks that is interchangeable aside from things like door handles, maybe the air conditioner, and a few things here and there, but overall most things are SRT-10 specific. Before I owned this truck I had a 2006 Ram and being in the 10 is a lot different in every way than the regular Ram I had, parts included. That said, my aftermarket tail lights and door handle covers are interchangeable and my black honeycomb grille is from the 2500 Ram.

I would say yes to SRT-10 only being it has the slapper shock mount built into it.

SRT is the only one that uses the Dana 60

Both RC and QC have the diffy cover, but only the RC actually has the kicker shock. QC guys just need the shock and mounting hardware.

well im looking for a rear axle shaft but if the srt is the only one to use the dana 60 i guess im screwed lol how about the front suspension, spindle? upper and lower control arms?? interchangeable with other models?

I'm gonna go with no, considering that the srt10 doesn't sit on ram suspension. This may be ram sheet metal but its srt's brain child.

just a couple of things off the top of my head
upper and lower control arms are aluminum....
5" dia. aluminum driveshaft
DANA HD 60 is slung with leaf springs running under the axle (reg cab)...HD meaning it has a hop dampner (shock) connected to the frame

Go to your local salvage yard take the tag off of the rear axle,they can cross refrance it and get a shaft for you.The srt-10 may be the only dodge truck to use the 60,but chevy and ford use them also.so the sahfts will interchange.

Hey Brat, how's it be?
It's a damn good try anyways, but I think ours has the longest axles of them all:dontknow: Think it does have to be a Super 60 as well. Jeep, Ford for sure had shorter axles.

Pull the boken shaft and measure the length. It's 1.5", 35 spline shaft, with a 5 x 5.5 lug pattern. Randy's Ring and Pinion can easily provide a generic replacement shaft.
