As some of you know, the last time I went to the strip I broke my clutch Master Cyl. I have ordered the clutch upgrade from JTS Venom, which includes a metal master and slave. Truck is in the shop today. I also ordered JTS Venom electric fans and I will be removing my hydraulic stock fan, I hope to save a little weight and possibly be able to run a short belt on race day to eliminate the power steering pump. I will report on the results if they are practical. I also ordered the Gen II JTS Venom shifter. Finally (and I am really excited about this) I ordered the JTS Venom Carbon Fiber Driveshaft. Tony said there are several in use, but I have not seen any reports on these. I will be taking my truck over to Cal Speed and we will do a base Dyno run with the stock driveshaft (street tires and 91 octane street tune), then we will change the driveshaft and after a proper cool down we will see if the CF Driveshaft adds any RWHP. Then I will test it at the strip to see if it helps at all with the 60' time. It will probably be a while before I go to the strip, so be patient.
