04 ducati monster s4r... only year of this color, too... a few carbon bits, silmotor titanium exhaust, clutch upgrade, open case, upgraded ohlins... all in all i'm pretty happy!

there's history with me and this truck... and this is how it is as of today... gonna be a LONG road, but it's got an 11:1 355 and turbo 350 in it now... goin to have the rear end built now with 3.73's and a detroit truetrac... i'm pretty sure the 355 is comin out for an LS...

The Monster is cool and all, I just never understood the shrunken look of them? They look to be a real short wheelbase wheras most bikers actually lengthen the wheelbase?:dontknow:

i can't tell you to be honest... i've been a ducati fan since i was a kid... and i like the naked frame, streetfighter/monster look...
for me it was more of a decision of wants vs. needs... besides the fact that theres NO windscreen whatsoever and the wind buffetting is ridiculous, i like it... the seating postition is higher than a sportbike, but lower than a cruiser, i love the v-twin sound...
most people are extending swingarms for drag racing, or for looks, or whatever... adding an inch or two isn't too extreme, but these 3-4-5-6 inch extensions... all they do is keep the front tire down...
i just like them, and i found one that i wanted... so i bought it... but i've been looking on and off for two years... figured now's a good a time as any!:rock:

They also got a 67 and 69 shortbeds, one with a big block for sale. Might bring the 69 back when we go drop of the nieces next week. You need any parts, I was debating buying both.

Love the Monster! I really love the blue/white paint too! Hadn't seen one like that before. I've got the same paint scheme on my Triumph Thunderbird. The '67 is my favorite of the '67-'72 Chevy trucks. Cleanest front end look. Definitely easy to find parts for.

i'm good on parts... company in NC is where i buy most all my parts and i can go pic them up and save on shipping...
