You drive too well to go to an auto. NO!
Check out the power shift thread, we timed my shifts, which weren't really all that great at .230-.251 per shift. The auto in my wife's 300srt8 was .09 per shift
You shift very well, dont let the .2 blah blah of a second tell you that you should want an auto. Comparison was done from youtube videos for gods sake. Regardless, it's obvious a built auto is quicker than a manual transmission. Some of us rather sacrifice a little e/t to have fun down the track.Check out the power shift thread, we timed my shifts, which weren't really all that great at .230-.251 per shift. Hmmm...not sure in the .09, maybe .9? I tune GMs and factory shift solonoid speed is set to .850 on Vettes, Camaros, and TAs. When I tune them I generally drop the time to .250 -..400 which is twice as fast a shift as factory.![]()

I'm glad you didnt take that the wrong way. Well done ^
I'll save the auto swap for last. If I can run high 10's with the 6speed then I'll probably just keep it.
Now go build some ladder bars, so I can copy them!![]()
Yeah, yeah, do that. Send me the specs when you're done![]()
Our whole point is dont just put in an auto to go quicker.
You preaching to the choir about how awesome auto's are
I do miss the ease of cruising sometimes when i just want to stop and go. Ah well, i'm never going back.
There's also no way id put any trans without at least one over drive gear!
Carl, have you ever run the BatRam down the strip?
