I used mcleod clutches for a TT smallblock foxbody stang (5 speed) that i played with back in the day-had very good luck with them...anybody using one in their ram?
I have a McLeod twin disc, and the peddal pressure was very high until I installed the JTS Venom upgrade (metal) master and slave. Now its very managable. Clutch has been great at the strip, no problems ever, going on 2 years plus and lots of passes (50-100+), I can't count them all but I have a drawer full of time slips!

I abuse my spec 3+ a lot. Works fine.
Going with a Mcleod dual disc asap though. I want a lighter pedal. That's my only reason.
Good question. It's the plastic OEM one from a gen 2 viper. Same goes for the slave. Of course the slave is metal.
I'm going to call up a local shop to see if they can shim my clutch for me. I have had it with this thing. I want it to shift easy under load and/or WOT.
I dont see how your spec 3+ feels light. The only reason i want to go to a dual disc is for a much lighter clutch pedal.
