actually I was able to hear in person wes truck which is now chris brothers truck and it sounded badass. he had stock exhaust manifolds tho thats how they will sound best imo if you have aftermarket headers then i wouldnt have cutouts

stock they sound good got a nice deep cam sound to it almost but with aftermarket headers I HAVE to agree with you they sound like SH*t!!!

Where are the cutouts placed? Couldnt you put them after the cat but before the muffler? Youd get a louder sound but not ridiculous raspy noise...

I would think after the cats. Might throw codes if before

It's going to louder than side exhaust since its under the truck and the sound is going to bounce off the floor and the truck. Side exhaust won't have that

Mine were placed at the very front of the mid pipe, connected right to the factory exhaust manifold.

So what if you put cut outs on then made them pipe after um to exit the side of the truck?? Basically have side exhaust and full exhaust? Or do i sound dumb?

It would work but it's just added weight in my opinion.
