GTG EUROPE

Hello Arne,

Although i have limited time to help out on such a big event as a EU GTG and no experience, I would like to help out for the Belgian, Holland and even French part.
I'll start with making this known in other fora. ;)

I just have sent out an email for information about the posibilities to the circuit of Zolder and the circuit of Francorchamps here in Belgium.
We'll see what they come up with.
 
The team in Germany (dodge eu forum) organize a real big Dodge Meeting at the end of each year at the Nürburgring (the famous green hell).
I will get in contact with the guy that does all this organisational work and see what it takes to make such an event a success.

I will also see if the Nürburgring could be an option.
The event of this years dodge meeting is still upcoming
in november, so i will check on this as well.

I got the question back from the Dutch forum if this is to be an exclusive SRT truck meeting or a general SRT (4 6 8 10) meeting.

As you said Arne a 100 trucks would be nicer than 30 trucks and 70 cars.
Are you sure to get 100 trucks together ?

In Belgium there are some (i don(t remember :( ) euh, 60 to 80 SRT trucks registered. i can reach maybe about 40 of them through a dealer who specializes in SRT trucks. In holland there could be a little more. Not all of them are on the forums of course.

Without any suggestion from my side there are already some ideas about the Nordschleife :) Some seem to like that......

From the Belgian forum i got a message back that the Belgian circuit organisations ask a lot of money for events. :(
Information is asked for so we will see...
 
100 TRUCKS IS THE AIM OF OUR 2013 EURO GTG

All,

We want to set a record breaking mark and bring 100 SRT trucks to our 2013 EURO GTG !

We have approx 40 listed in the german forum, 40 from belgium + netherland + austria and switzerland.

Maybe some crazy swedish people would join ?

I think we can make it !

Help us to achieve the goal and send in your comments and requests to make it a success story !

I'll be driving from England for any SRT 10 GTG in 2013.
Just need to know where and when
 
Mickster, is there any SRT10 community in the UK ?
I know that some stationed US guys have a SRT in the UK
and everynow and then some are for sale, but do you have a forum,
Or any other place where we could distribute this info ?

Its like a party invitation, invite 100 and 70 show up but only if the weather is nice:D

There is Not a UK forum..
I have just spoken to Mike from this forum who is based in Suffolk at USAF Mildenhall. I will speak to him soon and find out more
 
Slowly it's about time to pick a location so a flyer can be made.
I'm still in favour of the Nurburg ring. Does anybody know Sabine Schmitz ?
We could invite her and she could take some trucks arround the track so the owner gets a feeling of what his srt can do.... (just a thought).
The flyer in Eglish ? I know somebody who can help us with the lay out. My brother in law is a graphic develloper.
I think the flyer could be used to send to owners and to put under the wiper of trucks seen in the streets.

The Ring is a great Idea for a GTG :D:D:D

Great idea.
I know Sabine Schmitz she also drives the ring taxi.
Lets go for Nürburgring. What i know is that Tim Schrick
Already drove our truck (he is like Sabine a race driver and
son of the well known Schrick camshaft producer)
Either way, we have options to go for.

I think we need to compare a little the holiday times of each of the countries
to catch as many as possible with this GTG.

Graphic support is brilliant.

I will summarize my list of ideas and lets just share what we all have and go ahead !

This is going to be awesome.. i'll be there from England. I will let the others I know with 10s about this..
 
The date has been set for the 29th/30th June at the Nurburgring. This is now an SRT meet and will include all SRT's and not just the trucks as first suggested. Please look at all Euro forums anfd the Euro SRT10 facebook page for further details. But for now put the date in your diaries. dont miss this one guys. Maybe the BIGGEST SRT meet ever ???
