Good day,
I am fairly new to the SRT-10 club, that being said I have a lot to learn. I usually mouse click and scroll through tons of threads.

Well just recently I finally was able to pick up the Infinity sub box for my 2004 RC. I found it at the Midwest Mopar show of all places. It caught my eye from a mile away:drool:. I was looking all over for one and now i had one.:D

After getting it home and trying to install, I had to find the wiring that was in the truck to hook up the sub, the amp was installed but the wiring was no where to be found. Well after a few days, I had a wire tracer and I found it. The old owner of the truck must have cut it out. The wires where all taped together. Just near the pass. door channel:dontknow:

so here is what I found on the sub that may be helpful to others, and yes I had to cancel my order from amazon for a new sub,.:flute:

ON THE WOOFER ITSELF
OUT OF ITS ENCLOSURE, I TESTED THE IMPEDENCE OF THE COILS, ONE SIDE READ JUSE BELOW 4OHMS AND THE OTHER SOME OFF THE WALL NUMBER:confused:. LUCKILY I WORK IN THE MUSIC AND SOUND INDUSTRY, I DECIDED TO SEE IF THERE WAS A BAD SOLDER JOINT, AND THERE WAS.

AT THE TERMINAL I WAS OFF, BUT ON THE BARE WIRE I WAS WELL WITHIN THE 4OHM TOLERENCE.

So I am going to try and solder the cold solder and see if I can get it to work.

now if anyone has a 6x9 infinity door speaker they want to sell, let me know.

I dont know if this will help anyone, just wanted to add some other findings on why the sub may not be functional.

If a coil is reading a different OHM number than the coil is bad.

What is it a DVC 4 ohm sub ?

After the repair, both are reading 4ohms.
Waiting for the rb4 and speakers from the members above to test the system.

Then I will Finally know what else I need to take off viper haulers hands.
