I have $3k to waste

Maybe I'm wrong , but seems to me everytime you want to use NOS you have to program the NOS tune and then back to stock again for normal everyday driving,pita. Save up and put a roe on it (very reliable and street friendly) that's what I'm going to do.

You don't have to switch tunes for a small shot like 100, tooloe used to drive his truck around all the time with his nos tune loaded, wasn't as much power as it could be but it wad always ready for a big shot of spray. As far as being reliable you do realize that the roe has killed more trucks than spray on this forum
 
even with just 5-6lbs. of boost? and sean recomends keeping rpm's at or below 5500.

Even at low boost, there is a reason almost every roe truck on the forum ends up with a built engine. The paxton is what I would go with if you don't want to go built.

Your bang on!! My engine was fully built with a ROE on it and I took it off and put a Paxton on,ROE's build a pile of heat, Paxton you can cool down intake air several different ways! (same as with a Pro-Charger)
 
30k+ miles on my 5lb Roe, Water meth works great for heat. I would buy headers and an SCT and pocket the rest.

It's an 05 QC and it had the Lyshlom at the time, I have since replaced it with a Whipple. Long story short the previous owner had it rebuilt by PSE after the snout pulley cam off and it locked up on me after 5k. From what I've heard PSE isn't all that good at rebuilding these blowers. I'm sure a head/cam package could get comparable numbers, but the system was already installed on the truck when I purchased it.
 
so what would most of you agree on? since there is alot of things i can do to it....
 
Save the 3K and put together 15K and then you'll be at the starting point for a performance Srt10. Do your research and formulate a plan of exactly what you want first. Without a plan you will WASTE your 3K! Talk to any vendor here for advise. My preference is JMB. Top Notch company with proven experience for performance and/or cosmetics.
