I've built a new editing system to handle multi video formats in real time. It's called the Edius Pro 6.52 editing system. The first video is a test of the editing system platform with all the picture in picture and misc effects that usually crash most other editing systems. Some may like this style some may not but I prefer the 2 cam editing style. Tell me what you think. Here is the first video of the TNT:

Looks pretty good, just a bit much to try and watch all at once, think it'd be awesome with 1 driver at a time

I agree. I had to rewind it at several points to watch different cams. Overall I like it though.

I think it's awesome ! So what if we have to rewind a few times, lol. It's neat it's all timed together

Cant open on cell maple leaf..... gott anutha place 2 view vid...cant wait 2 C...

Great job as usual Brad....thanks for all you do for the club! And thanks for making my 13 second truck look like it runs in the 11's:D:rock:

Oh and by the way did anyone notice I got the race doors color matched better.....truck looks good on video!

Brad, I would like to see a full screen of the closeup camera interior shot so I could watch the tach on that first run. Is that too much trouble?

Absolutely can do Jerry. I'll put it on my dragracing505 youtube account here:

This editing system rocks. What you asked for would have taken over 15 hours to render on my other editing computer!

So the Trainman does hit the rev limiter at the 1/4 mile laser huh? At about 117? Interesting :playingball:
Great driving Jerry:chain:

Brad....Thanks.....Man that is cool, just what I wanted to see, the tach only drops about 1,000 between each gear change....and I go through the lights at just about 6,000 in 4th gear....boy I'm using all of it. I'm sure with this new engine build I will have to go to the 32" tall slicks and bump the rev limiter. Thanks for the call too. I liked your analysis of frame by frame to see how long (in frames) each shift takes. Hope Wifey gets to see this one. And thanks Scott!

It takes Jerry 4/30 of a sec to shift between gears! The tach only goes up by 300rpm between shifts (no lifting off the gas pedal between shifts)!! That is faster than most automatics!!!

Yessir that's fast! I program most autos to shift. In .150 of a second and they do :)
Factory settings are around .450 on most cars/trucks ;)
Regardless he shifts as fast as an ELECTRONICALLY controlled, solenoid shifted Auto!

Thanks guys ! Brad, I used my calculator (4 divided by 30 = .1333) so .133 sec for the shift. Cool....and thanks Scott.

Excellent shifting Scott. I do notice that the RPM's between shifts don't go up which tells me your lifting inbetween shift. I wonder how much of a difference it would make to your times if you didn't lift?

Nice Scott! Looks as good as mine, pretty close to 6,000 in 4th also. What is your speed and tire size?
