Lost jaja

The 5.0 guy must've been his close buddy, cause he laid down some rubber which let the Lightning hook.

yea it was his buddy from their own performance shop "crew" lol .... the way they prepped their lane was way better than mine

I know the guy with the L he has a t-body lower pully and I think a tune. He had to change his spark plugs because 1 or 2 had melted part of the electrode.

hes not gonna say what he has exactly ....since i met the guy hes been saying hes stock till we raced lol

His engine is stock, but he does have some bolt on's. I am not sure if he even has headers.
I think try and cut some weight and it will be a lot closer race.

Did you use any VHT for better traction?

I dont need to loose weight I need to be able to launch without loosing traction....I did use vht.....Thing is I did a little clutch pop to see if the truck hooked and it did then when I raced, it didnt lol.. oh well next time

tell him if he wants to run someday from a roll to see whats really faster

I love our Viper trucks but they will get whooped by a lightning truck with bolt ons. A bone stock '03-'04 Lightning with pulley swap, cai, and a tune will run 12.80 with street tires. There are lightnings in my club that have bolt ons running 11.30 here in New Jersey, we have the fastest street trucks in the country over here. I've been trying to tell some of you guys this all along. Nice race vid, you need to run deep in the 12's to beat this guy Mr. jaja

Damn wish ya were.close to houston and we could put on a good show with street trucks. We have a bunch of 10-11 sec street trucks and one that runs 8.0 and drives it every once in a while on the street.

But ur right a bolton, pullied, tune.lightning is hard to be from a dig. If they wouldve ran from a roll and a.good driver on the 10 then i believe the srt wouldve won. Anoother disadvantage is that dodge makes heavy trucks

Lightnings aren't Frightening, lmfao!
Yeah I don't run 10s or low11s and have a dozen Lightnings that lost to the Venomous QC!!:chain:
Can I beat all of them....NO! Ask Lightning Rodder and they'll tell you ;)
They set me up with race after race from Mexico to the track, and I've taken them all down! Closest was full bolt ons,upper/lower pulley, ported Heaton, Killer Chiller, and FORGED,CAMMED, and STALLED engine! He was closest but still lost about 7 times from rolls, digs, then he challenged me to the track!!
Stomped his anus there too ;)
Oh yeah, I did mention I'm a QC right? Lmfao
They are an awesome truck, but not invincible by far.
Good times :tee:

Alright just keep loosing races:rock: some of us here know what we are talking about when it comes to getting these trucks to run at the track. But don't listen to us cause you already know it all jaja

Your right a stock viper truck with a bad driver will loose to a "bone stock L with pulley swap, cai, and tune" however with a good driver a stock srt10 is a 13.1 all day long, add a few bolt ons and they can run 12.5's on street tires. Neither one of these trucks look like they'd be in the 12's, maybe low 13's

I will ask him on Monday when I see him.

He's NOT stock, just for the record, IMO. Stock engine, but he has bolt ons, so enough of the, "He keeps saying it's stock",lol. Sounds like you got hustled, between his buddy laying down rubber in front, to that spark plug story. By the way, I'm stock as well, my nitrous is bolt on.:D

Nice to see you racing the truck though, no better way to motivate you to mod it than by losing a race. I don't know about street racing with that dude in the middle starting it. I like the way you set up that camera though. :D

Kinda dangerous if one of you gets sideways, as you get older, you'll realize that's probably not too smart. I like the way you set up that camera though. :D

hes 36 years old bro!!;)
