That's it for the mods. 05 quad cab. Wasn't expecting numbers this high or as much gain. Didn't gain that much peak power, but at gained over 50hp in the mid. Was really fat down low and lean up top. Pretty happy though, VERY big SOTP difference.

Would you mind sharing how much it cost? Many new members are interested in having a dyno tune done and knowing how much you paid might help them to make a decision. :)

those numbers seem WAY high - especially for a mustang dyno... i'd figure 10-12% more if it were a dynojet, which would make it even more unrealistic...

no doubt you'll feel the seat of the pants difference, especially if the tq management was removed, but i don't believe those numbers are accurate...

but dynos are for tuning anyways...

Same dyno before and after? I'm on my phone and didn't open the attachments.

the graph seems overlaid, but the times are less than 11 minutes apart...

it's doubtful you'd install a catback, cai, pulley, and an sct in 11 minutes, so i'm not sure how that translates...

to load a tune takes about 5 minutes by itself, and that assumes there's no adjustments needed after the first "try"...

Yep, same dyno. The numbers are usually high, but the gain in performance will be obvious on the track.

i'd expect the most power to be gained overall to be around 20 hp with those mods...

but you may see more in the mid range, for instance, over the entire length of the graph...

I'm sure he's about 50 ft lbs higher with those mods. No doubt :) Translating into 30 or so at the wheels ;-)

The graph shows he picked up 2 peak horsepower and 48 ft pounds of torque. Sounds legit to me. Base dyno numbers are retarded anyway. It's the gains that should translate to performance.

i think the ratio of gain could be there, but i think the baseline is about 50 too high...

Thanks for your opinion. It's always good to know why people feel the way they do. :D

the cost of the SCT tuner itself (I already had one) I think they are $375, plus $110 an hour for tuning on the dyno. took 1 hour
