??? I talk to him all the time. Hes just really, really busy right now. But hes still around, and still does amazing work. Sucks he had a fallout with this site, but damn that doesnt mean his product is bad, shit happens. I think his work speaks for itself, not everybody is going to get along.

Words to live by. We know who doesn't like Tony here, we know who supports Tony here. Why is it every time his name comes up we have to go back and forth? I think it's time we move on. As Dom said we were here before him and we will be here after him.

"Sorry but i jsut dont have time or need for that site any longer"

Yet his boys constantly run surveillance over here and report back to him with info. Pretty childish, but that's how it's mostly been. The main reason I chose to be a Vendor and support the VTCOA and its die-hard members and followers. Everyone needs other avenues to travel. Kinda like buying a new car and have several manufactures to choose from. You may like Dodge but out of 10 people 5 will say they had terrible experiences with Dodge and will never buy another. Sooo...they make their move to a Toyota cause they heard better things about them. Yet the die hard Dodge guy will always buy Dodge regardless of issues.

An analogy only ......:D

Yeah but alot of the issues that I have seen is the products really aren't his,he has them all made for him and takes all the credit,a true vendor IMO contacts the customers back right away to sell products and takes care of previous products sold ,no matter good or bad and not picking and choosing who to call back! and builds "his own" products himself to take credit of his own stuff, and theres a couple vendors on here daily that fall right into that group!!
Too me it would be like having a used car lot, going around and filling your lot with all the popular vehicles, coming up with your own brand name, lets say "ABCD motors" and putting that name on all the vehicles sell them as "your own" thats just how I see it!! LOL:D

He is done with the Vtcoa he has said it more then once.
I mean i don't even understand how the owner of this site would still let him come here after he bought a competitors site
And sends pms to new members here telling them to go over to his little site.

Going to dispel this one:

It was actually my call. Under the rules, there is nothing that says any vendor, member or other can't own and operate their own forum. There is also no rule that says someone can't poach members to populate their own site. There has to be good cause to ban someone and to ban for life (other than a Shaggy banning someone), it will be discussed.

Most post where they feel welcome anyway, so have fun and... Welcome

Cheers

Yea, I actually just found out about all this about an hour ago. I guess I didnt realize what was really going on. You are right, a vendor should MAKE or CREATE a product, not re-label it and sell it as their own. And against the rules or not, poaching members is a bitch move.

I understand what your saying, but I don't fully agree. I'm going to use the VPoA (Viper Parts of America) as an example. Those dumbass's couldn't design and build a part to save their collective souls, but they do have a bit of a corner on the market. They have taken the approach of killing off all the designers and builders to maintain that control, and that hurts every Viper owner.

I think it is good to have a mix of both, helps the members when getting replacement parts, they just know who they can call (again, no vendor names used). So both development and over the counter stuff is a big plus to everyone here.

On a personal note, I just wish it was easier to become a vendor for those that develop a great low cost (not really for profit or business) replacement for junk Dodge put on these trucks. With this truck, replacement parts are almost impossible at times, need a crank?

But impossible to really prove, so I don't chase it. Friends will be with friends.

And it's been said many times over, guys will go to all the Viper Truck forums, but 9 out of 10 come back to the real deal! The VTCOA :chain:

He bought Vipers of the world??

All vendors sell other peoples products and call them there own, its how the world works, when you buy a GM car your not buying all GM parts they still call it GM not the supplier of the parts, its nothing new..

VOTW is Tony's forum. He owns it. Not sure about the acquisition details though. It is also a fact that I have had more posts deleted there than I have on all the other forums I frequent, combined. Last fun fact is that after Tony acquired the forum, RottenRonnie is no longer allowed to post there. I don't know why.

just a note:

I have no problem with people having this discussion because most of us know whats going on anyway. The only thing that i ask is that we be respectful.

Thanks
