Very good choice in colors

Dang,

That looks cool. I really need to see some of this Hydro Dip in person.

The more I see it the more I like it.

Thats looking really good Hawk... Can't wait to see it with the intake on!

Thats looking great,If those are JTVP wires and plug boots I highly advise taking those boots off because they will bake those JTVP wires!! HOW do I know?? I had a set and they got baked and didnt get warranty replacement, just a friendly heads up!

Thanks everyone, hopefully intake on tonite or tomorrow. On the boots does it matter if I removed the OE heat shields, I was told that if you put these inside those shields they will retain all that heat from the metal........

A little more progress thanks to my son helping out, not all intake bolts are in but 1/2 are and threads started so I know everything is lined up. I'll keep posting progress until it starts and runs!!!!!

I had mine off when they got baked, three wires quit working on me is how I knew and the rubber end on the plugs pretty much turned to rubbery goo!, didn't have them on a month.

Looks great with the intake on Hawk..
I've been debating doing my intake in that hammer tone finish to compliment my silver/black theme but wasn't sure.. I was having a little trouble imagining what it would look like.. You more than answered my question.. Excellent color choices bro.. Excellent!

Thanks, just drove it around the block, no cel's and idle is good at 750rpm. Temp is holding around 170*(new 170* therm, lol) and so far no leaks...................Hell of a lot more responsive but I did notice at idle my charging is a tad low then comes up when driving(UD pulley I believe but no big deal). Do not like the look of the Volant, covers too much of what I just did so that will be up for sale very cheap soon, just not the look I was after. I'm going to have the OE air box lid dipped to match the covers and lettering so for now I'm temp using just the tube and filter from the Volant, actually doesn't look too bad but at idle will suck in a lot of hot air................

Hey to me the Volant is nothing but a huge eye sore. And by the way, your engine bay looks so good I just walked outside and slapped somebody in the face. When he asked why, I just said "HAWK, BITCH"

Fan-Freakin-Tastic Bud ........ Your Giving me a run for my money in the Engine Bay bud. I Luv it Hawk ....... Tell Nick he can help me out anytime man.

Sweet ready for Next Sunday, we'll park together and peoples heads will look like there watching a Tennis match. (grin)
