One of my buddy's has a turbo'd fox body that runs 10.50's in Vegas. He has never run it up here (in the mountains of ColoMexico 
). It did put 400+ to the wheels in Denver. We have been wanting to run and finally got the chance the other day. Disclaimer (that's like a prewritten excuse, for those of you who didn't know): my truck is currently way down on power, approximately 60rwhp less than in kill mode.
The safest way to get a couple quick runs in is on a seldom traveled section of Mexiconian Interstate. We agreed on one run, a 20 punch, I get the hit. First one to 75mph wins. As agreed, I got the hit. When I did, I jumped about half a car length. That is where I stayed until about 70, where I let off. We both spun hard on ever shift. Win: SRT10
As you might guess, one run is never enough. We agreed to go again, same terms, but this time I would let him get the hit. This time he jumped me by about half a car length. We stayed about that close until around 70mph. This time neither of us let off. I don't know what gear he grabs at 70mph, but from 70-80, he jumped out in front of me like I was standing still. I let off at 80mph. Win: Turbo Mustang
For the third run, he wanted to go from a dig. I was all geeked up to do that because I launch my truck well and I figured traction would be an issue for him. I let him have the hit. As expected, I jumped him by about 5 car lengths. He realized he wasn't going to catch me and just let off. Win: SRT10

This race was about the same as the second one: He jumped a little and I never caught him. It was close until about 70, then his car literally ran away from me. Win: Turbo Mustang
Overall I was happy with 2 out of 4. We both had a great time and are excited to get to the track. I think I can run him through an 1/8th, but I don't stand a chance through a 1/4, even with the extra horsepower I am missing.
