Tune or JTSVP lines?

Hey guys,

Here's whats going on.

I completed the 6-speed swap. While I was waiting for the driveshaft I loaded the RC tune and also replaced the factory power steering lines with JTSVP lines.

Since that time the fan is almost constantly running. My truck used to stay pretty well at 200 degrees and now because of the fan running 90% of the time its around 185-190 or so.

I don't mind the cooler temps, I just mind the constant noise of the fan running.

Any idea what's going on?

ya got a 170 stat???

put in a 170 thermostate, have torrie set the tune for the fan to come on at 185, if you have it set to come on at 170 it will constantly run,

That's probably what's going on.

Can I find a 170 degree thermostat at any local auto parts store?

Just checked autozone.com

Can get 190 - 180 - 170 degree thermostats. Cool, i'll pick up a 170 when i get a chance.

Get that 170* in there, I had the same problem when I installed my B&G Stage2 PCM, the fan was fighting with the therm to keep it cool. After the 170 it only comes on low speed not the hurricane setting.....
