Meh, as I said on the last page... I am just the A-Hole that says what others are thinking. I lost my tact years ago as this market began to suck the life out of me. Being the nice guy who was willing to help anyone at any time got me little more than a business that could barely grow, other vendors copying my products, and watching other vendors prosper on what I taught them how to do, or told their customers how to do. Having a business model based on having more information than the other guy doesn't lend itself well to helping people for free as I found out
These days, I say it how it is, and I charge for what I know. Those who are actually my customers, I break my back for. I spend my time pushing these markets forward, and no longer waste my time entertaining the dreamers and those who would pull this market into the dirt to save a dollar on their own builds at my expense.
Don't get me wrong- I have nothing against you and would buy you a beer while laughing about this. I put virtually no stock in the internet these days, it doesn't mean a damn thing. You simply jumped on a horse heading for a camp that I had decided to circle the wagons around yesterday out of chance and boredom.
Look bud, no hard feelings... I half knew what I was getting into when I bought this truck, just guess I didn't realize how expensive it would be to build it. Unfortunately I love this damn thing and instead of selling it and building something a little more cost affective... I guess I'll suffer through the consequences. I understand the lack of volume that these components are manufactured, but I still don't understand how you can buy a 620HP 454 complete from oil pan to valve covers out of JEGS for $9600, but to have someone do a Heads&Cam project is around $7000 on these motors!?!? Ultimately I would love to forge the engine, run around somewhere north of 600whp and have it built reliable enough to throw an occasional 200 shot on it at the track.... a man can dream can't he? :adore:

We have that 600whp dream out here in Phoenix too. Keep the dream alive. My plan is to buy lotto tickets. It's the best I got.

Not sure if you understood correctly or not, but its not my block or my car that has it, its a guy in Toronto I reached out to the builder to try to get ahold of the guy, and I have not heard back.. Thats all I can do big guy..

Yeah the builder I know did the head work on it only, I dont know who did the short block, but he said he would try to get ahold of him and ask him..
