Good Morning Bob. It's been so cold that my reading compression is frozen

Have you noticed your truck running any differently in the cold weather? Mine doesn't run as well and I am down 2 MPG. Second winter in a row that I've experienced this.

The worst part about the cold weather is that the streets are too cold to play on - traction doesn't exist. I raced a 3 series BMW across a long intersection last night, and it was much closer than it should have been.

We really need to have a Colorado GTG in 2014! Merry Christmas to you as well!!

Ya, my mileage is down too. Don't get it out on the hiway like usual so pretty much suburban driving. We definitely got to plan a GTG! Looking forward to start planning one in the spring...

Performance for me has gotten way better, Mpg's really haven't changed at all. I agree, cold roads are no fun at all.

Truck runs stronger(so it seems) when in 40s rather than 80s. That time of year. I live on north side of metro area & just don't go out to cruise around like when it nicer out, not much 6th gear cruising on Colorado Blvd,...

40's seem to be the sweet spot for mine as well. My truck runs better in the 80's and 90's than it does in this 0ish stuff.

Chris, your comment on "reading compression frozen" just hit me upside the head! Sounds like you need a compression release valve! Haha, talk about molasses in Jan, damn I'm getting old....

One of my stock oil lines fell out when I touched it with the nut still on the block, guess I got lucky it didn't come out during our cruise at the time. Def a good upgrade to do on these trucks. The stocker power steering lines are garbage too and will leak over time.
