Hi,

I herewith want to introduce you to Tom and his fabulous build of a
RAM SRT10 ACR-X version of our beloved trucks.

Tom is a member of the German chapter of the VTCOA and below you can find some details about what he has achieved during a 5 month almost full time built time of his truck.

He has been searching quit a bit for a low mileage and crash free SRT10. Now after his third SRT10 he finally found the right one to do the transformation project....:rock:

Ram SRT-10 RC; black ; 32T mls; bone stock (except a LPG Gasinjection)

Idea :
Ram SRT-10 in a grey/black ACR-Viper Look (AmericanClubRacing) with priority on performance and look.:D




Built time :
01/2014-05/2014 (almost every day with lots of support from another member and owner of the RATRAM Alex and his patient wife :rock:

Mods :
Bodywork :
- fully disassembled and deletion of all rust spots
- fully new painted in "Magnetic Grey Metallic"
- hood and Spoiler in black
- transformation to 2006er Front
- deletion of tailgate and installation of pronet
-Dodge Ram Daytona wing
- calvu mirror

Frame
- deletion of rust spots
- new painted in hammertone finish (grey/black)
- deletion of tow package
- deletion of extra wheel and base of extra wheel
- enlightened front and rear bumper steel support

Suspension:
- new spindle,…new Poly bushing and painted
- lowered with DJM springs front and belltech leaf springs in the back
-10X24“ alloys with 305/35/24

Brake:

- Brembo 6-piston caliper at the front
- drilled and slotted brake discs
- ss brakelines
- 5.1 brakefluid

engine/engine bay/gear box :

- compression set at 10,2:1
- Bassani shorties
- Roe Racing theottle body
- valve cover polished
- intake high gloss consolidated
- JMB Cold-Air-Intake
- cooling fluid hidden
-JMB washing fluid
- deletion of aircondition
- deletion of lpg Gasinjection
- new organic clutch
- cleaning of gear box
- short shifter

interior :

- deletion of seats and third seat; replacement with cobra racing seats
-6-point safety belt
- steering wheel upholstery with new design (flat bottom); matching shift knob shifterbag
-B-pillar, sunshades and roof in black suede
-A-pillar and plastic parts colored in black
- all former silver parts painted in high gloss black

other :
- ACR-Design folie
-„RAM ACR-X“ lettering on doors and hood
-Viperemblem at the front
- weight race ready 2030kg ( 4.466 lbs) (weight in 2013 before transformation : 2280kg (5016 lbs)

personally i dont like the red stripe over the truck and the seats , i guess i dont fit in it with my 112kg...:D
maybe adding blacked out taillights...:dontknow:

all in all , i would like to see this awesome truck in real life ! ! !
 
can i know the brand and maybe link for the black headlights ?

OEM steering wheel modified by a company in Germany.
They do upholstery work as well as changing the metal work for the steering wheel.

I love that truck. If it was mine, I'd put the tailgate back on and stripe it and the rear bumper. I'd also get someone to make a custom front splitter with struts for it out of real carbon fiber. The rest of the truck is sick.
 
sorry to bring back a old thread but...did the 06 fenders and bumpers bolt right up to the 05..or did you have to modify anything? and can you give me an idea of what was modified. thank you

Hi, talked to Tom !

It bolted all right up. He changed all 05 parts to 06 parts in the front, thats it.
