05 QC vs. 2014 Camaro SS rental

So we got to see first hand how our heavy 4 door Viper Trucks with mods fairs against a brand new 2014 Camaro SS. Overall you could say they are very even with maybe a tad going to the Viper Truck. Think the Caveman was shocked as well as Shorty!:D

Good times. We should have more GTG's in Mexico. :D

Haha glad you enjoyed as much as I did. I was a passenger and that's rare for me but still had a blast seeing Shorty let his truck rip. He's really never done that or knew exactly what his truck was capable of. It's hard to tell how fast these trucks really are unless you compare to a sports/muscle car :)
I am proud to see Shorty's truck out in work like that against a car 2000 lbs lighter. Good racing :burnout:

It's amazing how quick the 10's are down Mexico way. Must be the altitude or is it the attitude???

Camaro needs driver mod
You're not wrong about that. I had no idea what to do with the traction control, what RPM to shift at, or even where the horn was so I give the customary three honks. It's an interesting car to drive though. It feels faster than it is.

Plenty of both down here ;)

Shorty probably needs a bigger hat now. Next thing you know he will be looking for a SuperCharger & Slicks & trolling for those guys from Oklahoma.

Just now saw the vid. A little slow on the viewing but better late than never. 1. I'm deaf so never heard a horn honk. (He got a little jump on me) Plus I got trouble counting to 3 anyway. 2. I thought the tranny shifted automatically for me and VENOMOUS1 had set it up for optimum shifting. He kept reaching over and trying to shift. Just had to keep slapping his hand. 3. Very bad going into a race thinking you will be way bad beaten. Need a little more confidence in Mexico. 4. 2,000 pounds heck, I prob got another 500 in the bed plus my 270 makes us real close to 3,000 pound handicap. 5. Remembering 99% of my Mexican racing is from 40 mph up on the highway or freeways so this off the line stuff needs a lot of practice and learning. 6. Yes, yes, yes, when the engine needs work we will do some forged transplants and see if we can get closer to the magical 700 hp that I have always lusted for.

And again, meeting up with you guys made my day. Racing or no racing it was a real joy to meet my new friend Chris and always good to be with my old friend Scott.
