Have wanted a QC SRT-10 forever. Here in Alaska, they are very rare and I can count the number of times I've seen one for sale on one hand. A dealer out in Wasilla has a minty 2006 QC with relatively low miles (67000). They are asking 23999. The NADA looks like its about 23500 with that mileage although I've poked around and seen used prices all over the place so not sure how accurate the NADA booking is. It is mint but it looks like it is missing the rear spoiler.

We just got our first snow fall here in Alaska today so I really wouldn't get to drive it until around March or April, it would just sit in storage. I told the dealer nobody is going to buy a 2WD street truck once the snow falls and he should factor that into my offer, in addition to the fact that it is missing the rear spoiler. If they call me back, should I pull the trigger @ 21,000? Is that a fair price?

Here is a link to the truck. I may go test drive it on the weekend if the roads clear. Any things I should look for? Carfax has a curious history, shows 7 previous owners. That seems like a lot of owners for an 06.......

Not to bad of price....

7 owners, surprised it's not more. People don't like owning a vehicle they can only drive 3 months a year because of weather

If you want it, buy it!

I don't know how many (if any) of us have regretted buying our 10's

No pic of engine? Seems like that is the main reason to buy it and they don't highlight it?

Ahh, what the hell does the engine matter. It has a bunch of cup holders. I'd get it!

Yea here in Ak it would only be drivable from about April-May to September. Since they've been introduced, I've only seen 4 or 5 RC's and 3 QC's in the wild. I have a 4x4 F350 DRW I drive in the winter and use for my camper hauler so this would just be a summer time toy for me.

Not sure how the truck got there but they didn't seem to know much about it. I was making the rounds at Chevy, Dodge and Ford looking for a new DRW truck and I found that SRT QC sitting in the corner of a Chevrolet dealership about 40 miles out of town. Guess it was traded in on a new Chevy 4x4 purchase.

Do it, do it now!

I am waiting for all the snow to melt and the roads to dry out. If all goes well I am going to go look at it this weekend. Salesman got back to me, I think they are eager to move it. Not a lot of people in the market for a 2WD truck now that snow is here. Was actually thinking of lowering my offer, I'm sure that truck will sit there on the lot until spring breakup if I don't buy it. I don't think they'd be able to say no if I waved a 20,000 dollar cashier's check in front of their face.

I'm just thinking of the logistics of buying it and how I would get it home. It is roughly 55 miles away. None of my friends have any car haulers I can borrow if I buy it. Was thinking of just towing it home behind my F350.... Looks like I'd be looking at about a 120 dollar taxi fare from my house to the dealership.

love mine and had 3 by the way I have never lost a single dime on 2 ea 2005's or a 2006 ( because of offers on this one not sold) I get compliments every day and take clients to lunch in it all the time.

Buy it:rock:

It says in the comments that it has a spoiler. I would ask them to supply it with the vehicle or reduce the price. I think your right about them lowering the price because of the weather. They won't want to wait until the next year to sale the 10. Wait them out for a better price if you think you are the only one interested in it. You need to drive it (will it even make it down the street) & look under the hood before you start handing them money. Good Luck.

I saw the comments as well. They just used a stock vehicle write up for the description. Confirmed it does not have the spoiler. I know nobody else is looking at it. Who else would be dumb enough to buy a SRT10 in Alaska during winter? :D

Someone who really wants one.... bad!!!

I agree, dont assume your the only one that wants the truck. The dealer prolly does want it gone, but they will take the first offer from prolly anybody not only you.

If this is something you want, you need to go get it as you said its next to impossible to find a Ram SRT-10 in AK.

I lived in GA and have not seen one for sell in my state for the last 6 months, one popped up finally in Dublin, but I had to go to NC to get mine!

I'd fly up there in a flash and pay full price if my test drive would include Sarah Palin. :D:D:D

Well it's been on the lot for over a month. I'm only going to pull the trigger if I get it for the right price,. Kind of hard to justify a 20,000 deduction from the budget for a vehicle I won't even get to drive for 6-7 months.

Palin........ She actually lives in Wasilla where the dealership with the Ram is lol. I think she's still trying to spot Russia from her doorstep.
