I hear ya on that. Getting too old to convince the powers that we need an $80-$100K truck.

But who cares, I still got my RED SRT-10 and there may be trucks in the future that can out run it but they will never, never ever be a Viper powered SRT-10 again. :rock:

I see this as a diversion...Ill bet we see the 6.4L 392 ram before a hellcat. They already have 2 prototypes and have it running in the 2500's....So there you go, Im sayin a year or 2 and you'll see SRT8 392 Ram.

Take the RAM 392 & put your own S/C on it & you will have your Hellcat. But we will still have our traction problem.

I'm sure glad this didn't turn into one of those "I want a Hellcat" threads. Chrysler is pumping up the car in Chally and Charger versions for sales. But it's a Year One in my book.. And Year Ones usually have more bugs and problems than the law allows. Perhaps in the future we will see a 6.4L 6spd SC RAM. I would pine for that than anything else...

No I'm just an avid sarcastic smart ass.. And I read everything I get my hands on no matter how old. So stuff like that there what I said slips out every now and then. It happens especially when I am at the haberdashery or getting my shoes fixed at the local cobbler.. Or while watching a couple hard boiled palookas duking it out on the tube. It's swell I guess. I dunno if you'd believe that malarkey though...

Old Ralphy hinted, starting just after the vipers release that- the challenger soon will no longer take second seat to the Camaro or the mustang..Talking to him last summer I knew it was coming/ wasn't sure exactly what but I had faith!!!!
