6speedquadcab's build thread

I just finished swapping pedals so I would be ready when the drive shaft shows up. It wasn't too bad. I did remove driver seat that made plenty of room takes 4 bolts and 6 nuts (center console has to come loose too) and 2 plugs to remove it. I dropped the column then just removed it all together. Made for TONS of room and I had zero problems. I spent about 3 hours on it. But only because I removed the pedals gonna just swap them and leave the basket, then I wound up dropping the basket anyhow and just putting the pedals in it outside the truck then reinstalling it all.

Glad you got it all done man. Now on to the main event.

After much waiting and much heartache, I finally got my baby back good as new. Got a beautiful brand new driveshaft and tail shaft seal from my local dealership.

Just the photobucket pic of a cat. I feel cheated. Congrats on getting the truck repaired and back. Here is hoping other motorists leave it alone.

Parts list complete thanks to Matt. This build is now within reach.

Awesome! Hope you get it all installed soon. Can't wait to hear how happy it makes you (your happiness will help me bust my hump for the rest of the parts that I need). :D

Looks like some Ogre headed bald transgender helped you install that,......

If you would have just bought a RC you would be done :D

I got the quad cab cuz I needed the room for the family. Next time I get a two door vehicle, it will be either a Viper or a 1969 Daytona.
