The SAGA continues--Truck got side swiped by a tractor

Seems the insurance company for the city of Emory Texas will not pay for the entire truck to be painted. They allowed $5200 for damage and I will be left with a two tone paint job. I asked the insurance adjuster did her company really want to go before a jury of MY peers and see how it turned out?

I waltz into the city offices and give them the two estimates---insurance companies reduced one of $5200 and the total restoration bid, about $8600. The city manager grabbed the two estimates and said, “The city of Emory is paying for the job to be done right and the city would pay any difference in the quotes.â€￾ “We will make it right.â€￾

Gentleman, this is a town of 1200 population, the second smallest county in Texas yet they are doing the right thing, remembering it was their employee and their tractor that hit my truck. Just one more reason to live in the great state of TEXAS. :rock::rock::rock:

Right after the boy hit me I told him not to worry as things can be replace and no one was hurt. The city manager who had come on the scene at that time said, "see, I told you not to worry---that is why we have insurance---don't worry and go on back to work."

So, I am hoping all is well with the young man.

NOT black like your soul. LOL ALL sports or racing or classic vehicles should be RED or maybe Yeller. Not silver like the first imported Mercedes. While with the blue stripes ain't too bad either.

The 1st 10 I tried to buy was a "yeller" one but could not get the dealer to ever show me the truck. "In the shop" or "at another location" so number 2 was black one that had been rode hard and put up wet. Then the red from LA that had been wrecked and never tracked correctly. Last I got my RED baby that I now own.

Red is my frist choice but would love to have a Yeller Fever.

NOT BLACK! unless you want to pay someone to stand out there 24/7 to dust off the truck every hour in order to keep it clean lol... you'd be surprised how much dust can stick to it and be visible within an hour. obviously im exaggerating, ya'll get the drift.
