6speedquadcab's build thread

Damn, congrats are in order. now I can't make fun of the delays anymore. You will definitely enjoy the truck more and make the few that know about the truck scratch their heads for sure

Great execution! Well done. I know you don't wanna give me credit where it's due, and that's cool, but you wouldn't have done it without me doing this to my own truck years ago and "perfecting" it. Without my original
conversion Efrain woulda never came to Texas to check mine out, twice! We whooped some ass both times he came so he witnessed the difference first hand. Before he even got back up north he was asking questions and collecting parts to do his own. If not mistaken his was #2 with the "Venomous 6speed conversion":burnout:
Enjoy it and post some vids of you ripping gears. :driver:

Do you need validation that badly?

Looks great? Are there any negatives you have noticed since the swap. Just trying to decide if I want to pursue the same idea.

Only negative if you can call it that, is that I drive it a hell of a lot more than I used to so I'm racking up miles on it like crazy. That's a negative I think I can live with though. :)

Honestly, this truck should have been offered only in a six speed no matter if RC or QC. It's changes the dynamic of it all together in a positive way and drives like it was meant to. I recommend this upgrade to anyone with a QC that wants the true sports truck experience. I love this truck double what I used to now and wouldn't sell it or trade it for anything.... Unless it's a 69 Daytona. :p

I got a negative. Ever since I went 6sp quad cab my balls are so big I am wearing out the seat bolster dragging them out of the truck.

You had that issue prior to the swap, or so I hear.....

Track down the road in Bakersfield too, but I never see him on here after building that motor, must have scared himself. .......

Sounds like Jerry will be making some runs this weekend. I'm sure it's an open invite for anyone that would like to meet up with this cool ass old man so PM him for details. :burnout:
